I’m an architect, a father, a husband, a rock climber, a blogger and wannabe geek. Although not necessarily in that order.
I’m a director at Axis Design Architects. We’re architects and urban designers in Birmingham, UK. We mostly make housing and deliver urban regeneration. Lately we’ve been experimenting with online methods of public consultation.
I previously worked on projects in my spare time with two fellow architects. The company was called 0.5, the name came from our favourite size of Rotring pen. You can see some our work in a set of images on flickr: noughtpointfive design.
I graduated from my under-graduate course in 1998 with a first class degree, and my post-graduate course in 2001 with distinction. I studied at the Birmingham School of Architecture. The results are all online. I finally completed the RIBA part 3 exam in 2003. Some of that is online too.
